Royal Botanic Gardens Edinburgh

Take a walk in paradise at five star Logan Botanic Garden and discover plant treasures rarely seen in the United Kingdom. Located on the south-western tip of Scotland, Logan enjoys an almost subtropical climate. The Garden's avenues and borders feature a spectacular and colourful array of half-hardy perennials. 

Angela established Clience Studio in the artist's town of Kirkcudbright, South-West Scotland in 2004. Now situated nearby in the high street of Castle Douglas, Clience Studio is a most welcoming gallery, as well as the artist's studio, and displays her original oils and watercolours, signed giclee prints and other items produced from her work.

Threave’s wonderful garden has been created over the years by students of the Trust’s School of Heritage Gardening – and is a fine example of landscaped beauty. The garden is divided into a series of smaller gardens to showcase different styles, including a rose garden, rockery and walled garden.

The collection contains many fine and rare examples of crystals found in Britain. They are displayed alongside many other colourful specimens from around the world with unusual items such as the 4.5 billion year old, three kilogram meteorite, the fossilised egg and dung of a dinosaur! 

Creetown Gemrock Museum

Over the 20 years the Museum has gone from strength to strength, and many more items have been handed in to the Museum. Most items are gifted and displayed right away on the shelves, some items need to be renovated and the volunteers take on this also. The items can range from as small as a button to as large as a black range from a house up the Moss Road. 

Dalbeattie Museum

Our modern distillery was designed to deliver a modern grain to glass set up which would allow us to create any spirit we turn our hand to, and create an inspiring and unique home to celebrate our products and the region that drives their character.
